TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
This product has been manufactured and tested to the highest quality standards by EasyCAM. The warranty offered by EasyCAM LLC covers defects in materials or workmanship in new EasyCAM LLC products. This warranty extends to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Only consumers purchasing EasyCAM LLC products from authorized EasyCAM LLC retailers and resellers or through the EasyCAM LLC website may obtain coverage under our warranty.
What is covered? EasyCAM LLC warrants this product against defects in material or workmanship as follows:
EasyCAM LLC will replace any component of the product that proves defective because of improper workmanship and/or material under normal use. THE PURCHASER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT OF ALL SHIPPING COSTS.
Through our third-party suppliers, EasyCAM LLC honors the Manufacturer’s warranty terms on all parts and accessories not directly manufactured by EasyCAM LLC (see below).
How long does the coverage last? Our warranty period for is 2 years from the documented date of purchase depending on the type of product.
What EasyCAM LLC does not cover? Our warranties do not cover any problem that is caused by:
- Conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in materials or workmanship.
- Conditions, malfunctions, or damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper installation, improper maintenance, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, or alteration.
- Kinked Push Cable. A kink in the push cable is evidence of negligence or operator error.
- Accessories, connecting materials and products, or related products not manufactured by EasyCAM LLC (see Third Party Manufacturer’s Warranty Information).
Our warranties are void if a product is returned tampered with or altered in any way.
Defects in Materials or Workmanship: In our experience, when a product fails prematurely due to a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship, it will generally do so very early in the product life cycle, often the first or second time the product is used. When the components are returned for inspection, these products are generally found to still be in like new condition and show very little signs of use. It is uncommon for a product that was manufactured with a defect to survive under normal use for any extended period of time. Products that are returned for warranty inspection after months or years of continuous reliable service are rarely found to be defective. The most common demand for service is the result of normal wear and tear issues, which are not considered to be a defect in materials or workmanship.
Third-Party Manufacturer’s Warranty Information: The following are the Manufacturer’s coverage periods for the parts and accessories not directly manufactured by EasyCAM LLC:
Camera Head: 6 months from documented date of purchase
Transmitter: 6 months from documented date of purchase
EC-MR5 Recordable Monitor: 1 year from documented date of purchase
EasyFIND Locator Wand: 2 years from documented date of purchase
DEWALT® Battery: 2 year limited manufacturer warranty
EasyCAM LLC or our third-party suppliers will NOT cover lost chargers, monitors or any other lost components. EasyCAM LLC or our third-party suppliers will NOT cover batteries that have died due to a failure to charge the unit, or improper charging. EasyCAM LLC or our third-party suppliers will NOT cover damages due to misuse and/or negligence.
How to file a claim? To obtain warranty service you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you. EasyCAM LLC will not provide any warranty coverage unless plans are made in compliance with all the terms of the controlling Warranty Statement included with your product and you follow proper term procedures. THE PURCHASER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT OF ALL SHIPPING COSTS.
By entering into a purchase agreement with EasyCAM LLC, the purchaser agrees to the terms and limitations set forth in this warranty.
